Feeding the Coma Cluster: NGC 4911 and Companion
The fascinating spiral, called NGC 4911 lurks deep inside the grant Coma Cluster (Coma Berenices). Ghostly arms spread away from
galaxy, due to the galactic dance with its companion NGC4911A. Such free floating star streams are thought to be common in all galaxy clusters. And in some
million years, these couple will merge and form a single elliptical galaxy. Data: HST via HLA, NASA/ESA. Processing: N. Sulzenauer.
